IVS Hosts E-Government Seminar

The Technology Innovation Centre in collaboration with Interactive Voice Solutions (IVS), invited government officials to attend a free Seminar on "Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Solutions in an e-Government Era".

The objective of the seminar was to offer government officials an opportunity to gain additional insight as to how IVR technology could assist in realizing their visions for improving efficiencies throughout their organizations and keeping in step with world standards. IVS therefore set out to:

1. Demonstrate how IVR systems can impact their organizations by improving information delivery, organizational efficiency, and streamlining the services offered.
2. Demonstrate how effective use of IVRs has impacted on governmental organizations in other countries.
3. Provide economical justification for implementing IVRs
4. Create interest in IVR solutions.

On Thursday, October 23, 2003, Permanent Secretaries, Information Technology Managers or their proxies attended the seminar from various Ministries.
